Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapeutic approach that focuses on understanding and modifying behaviors to improve a person’s social, communication, and daily living skills, while also reducing problematic behaviors.
ABA is widely known for its effectiveness in working with individuals diagnosed with ASD. It helps individuals with autism develop communication, social, academic, and daily living skills while reducing problematic behaviors.
Behavioral Consultation Services
Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (I/DD)
Behavioral consultation for adults in waiver programs involves providing specialized support and guidance to address behavioral challenges and promote positive behaviors in individuals with developmental disabilities or other conditions.
Adults and youth that are a recipient of a home and community-based waiver are often eligible for behavior consultation services.
A waiver program is a government-funded program that provides services and support to individuals who require long-term care in their homes or communities instead of institutional settings. Behavioral consultation is a crucial component of these programs to enhance the individual’s quality of life and facilitate their integration into the community.
Educational Consultation
Our educational consultation service involves collaborating with educators, administrators, parents, and other stakeholders to address behavioral challenges and promote positive behavior in students. Behavioral consultants, often trained in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or other behavior management approaches, provide support, strategies, and guidance to create a positive and conducive learning environment for all students.
Speech Therapy
We work with individuals of all ages who have difficulties with speech, language, voice, fluency (stuttering), and swallowing. Following an assessment, our care team develops a customized treatment plan that aims to improve communication skills and enhance social interactions.
Family Education
We collaborate with families to provide guidance, home exercises, and strategies to support communication development and progress outside of therapy sessions.
