Overview of Qualifications
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification is preferred (We offer certification training, if needed)
- High school diploma is required – or equivalent (GED is acceptable)
- Interest in working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation and insurance
- Flexibility with client scheduling and treatment needs
- Strong ability to use problem-solving and critical-thinking skills at all times
Our BTs implement treatment goals under the supervision of a BCBA and provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to youth in a variety of settings such as home, school and clinic. Teaching communication, self-help, and social skills, while tracking and reporting on client progress, is an integral part of this role.
